At Black Gum Farms, we understand that part of running a successful breeding program is being able to say goodbye to some of our beloved horses. While it is always difficult to part with a horse that we have raised and cared for, we know that it is a necessary part of the work that we do.

Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working with some truly exceptional horses, many of whom have gone on to make their mark in the Morgan horse world. While we are proud of all the horses that have graced our pastures, we know that some will always hold a special place in our hearts.

As we look back on our history as a breeding farm, we are reminded of the many wonderful horses that have passed through our gates. From our very first broodmare to the foals that we have bred and raised over the years, each horse has left an indelible mark on our farm.

While we may no longer have some of these horses with us, their legacy lives on in the horses that we continue to breed and raise today. We are committed to carrying on their tradition of excellence and to producing top-quality Morgan horses that will carry the Black Gum Farms name proudly.
